Preaching the gospel of Christ through worship.
Zion City Worshippers began in 2016 as a choir at RCCG Righteous Gate Parish, Idu Uruan — a group of people in Akwa Ibom who wanted to worship God and reach souls through gospel music.
The name says the intention. Zion is the dwelling place of God, and we are a company of believers giving Him every sound and every lyric we have.
That vision gave birth to the Halleluyah Experience — an annual worship encounter that has carried a different theme every year since. This is the tenth.

Three things we have not moved on
A calling, not a choir
We began as a church choir, but rehearsals kept turning into something else — practice that ended in God's presence. That is when it became clear this was never just a singing group.
Open to every house
Zion City Worshippers is interdenominational by design. The doors are open to anyone who shares the passion for authentic worship, irrespective of whatever church they come from.
Souls, not accolades
We do not measure this work in awards or recognition. The only achievement that lasts is a soul won for Christ, and that has not changed in ten years.
The record
Ten gatherings, and the theme God gave for each one. We hold photographs for only a couple of them — the rest were simply lived, in a season when nobody thought to document what was happening.
